Why Partner with Metabolon?
Partnering with diverse, deeply phenotyped cohorts helps us contribute to the global scientific effort; furthering our understanding of metabolic profiles and biological pathways of different diseases ensuring comparative representation across age, gender, ethnicity, and environmental characteristics.
Our data partners gain access to high-quality metabolomics data matched and curated from Metabolon’s reference library, which boasts the largest commercially available level 1 annotated coverage of the metabolome globally.
Some examples of our strategic partners include cohorts of neurodevelopmental diseases (BIOFINDER 2, Cardiff University DPMCN, AMBRoSIA, PRoBaND Tracking Parkinson’s, University of Oxford Parkinson’s Disease Centre), population cohorts (Canadian Longitudinal Study of Aging, HELIOS, AMISH Research Program), rare diseases (Genomics England) and many other domains (PRIMM, Brigham & Women’s Lactation Lab, TwinsUK, IMPACC).

We’ve collaborated with companies to validate sample collection devices designed for ambient-temperature storage and transport of human samples for metabolomic analysis. We have shown these devices enable the collection of samples at ambient temperature for Metabolon’s Global Discovery Panel.
