Small Molecules at the Intersection of Health & Microbiota | July 2017

Our GI tract is colonized by a complex microbial community. These microorganisms provide key functions including digestion and fermentation of non-digestible polysaccharides and proteins, modification of bile salts, vitamin synthesis, immune function stimulation, and prevention of colonization by externally introduced microorganisms. But, in most cases, the complex influences of the microbiome on our health are not yet functionally understood.

Metabolon’s unbiased global metabolomics approach provides a great tool to decipher the complex microbiome story. This webinar covers who we are, what we do, and how you can leverage this technology for microbiome research, as demonstrated by case studies completed by our clients.
